As a child I was fearless,
Nothing could scare me.
I realize I was thoughtless,
I was beyond carefree.
I was so trusting,
Everyone isn't an angel.
I began adapting,
Seeing the world through a new angle.
But now I am stronger,
I'm no longer naive.
I'll be hurt no longer,
Nothing can scare me.
Ignorance is strength,
Getting knock down builds you up.
Even if you have to go through great lengths,
Never, never give up.
